About Dr. Leana Terblanche
Dr. Leana Terblanche is a gynaecologist in private practice and consult from Suites on King (13/73 King Street) and Franklin Specialist Suites. She is also a specialist at Counties Manukau DHB where she provides a full range of gynaecological services (open and laparoscopic) and is also the team-lead for complex obstetric surgical deliveries.
Leana is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. She also completed a diploma in gynae-oncology from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 2019.
I am passionate about providing safe and comprehensive care.
Dr. Terblanche is actively involved in training and holds a part time senior lecturer appointment from the University of Auckland where she is involved in the teaching of medical students. She is also a supervisor for specialist RANZCOG trainees.
She is involved in research and has published in the field of obstetrics and gynaecology.
Leana provides a wide range of general gynaecological services and can also consult on obstetric cases if needed.
She is a member of the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society, the Australasian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (ASCCP), the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology and the Australia Menopause Society.
She is passionate about providing safe and comprehensive care and believes in evidence-based medicine at the core of all decision making.
